I'm Nick Goetsch. A decade running paid media at agencies, then I stepped back to build useful things for the small businesses and curious people the industry usually skips. You bring the annoying, time-eating problem. I build the thing that fixes it.
Where most people get stuck
You're excited about AI. You also have no idea where to start. That's normal.
Everyone keeps telling you AI is going to change your business. Nobody tells you the first move. So it sits there — a tab you keep meaning to open — while the same tasks eat the same hours every week.
I'm the person you hand that to. Not a roadmap, not a slide deck about the future. I open an editor and build the working thing — the tool, the automation, the small fix that gives you an afternoon back — and then I help you actually run it.
How I work
My favorite part of the job is building the thing.
It's called “vibe coding” — building real software with AI tools, fast. A clever hack on Tuesday can be a thing your business depends on by next month. That second half, the make-it-dependable half, is the work I care about most — but more on that on the Work page.
Big strategic problems are fun. So are the small, dumb, recurring ones that quietly cost you a day a month. I like solving both.

Why me
I left the agency treadmill. I kept the itch.
For a decade I ran paid media inside agencies — VP, the whole bit. Then I traded that commute for a much shorter one, down the hall, to a young family. What I didn't trade away was the part of me that can't leave an interesting problem alone. Sixsmith Digital is where that goes now.
